Not normally a worrier but!

Hi everyone

as the title suggests I don’t normally worry about things until I know there is something to worry about but this is different. 

About 2 months ago I noticed my left nipple is turned to the left I have been really busy at work and have a family including a disabled child so put my problems on hold .. I was a bit worried but had a holiday booked that I really needed ! 

Went to GP yesterday and she made me a 2 week appt there and then . there is also a lump near the nipple and indentation  in the breast . It is also painful . 

All these things together have me convinced it is going to be a cancer diagnosis. Now I am am wishing I had gone straight away .

    I'm new too no advice just to say Hi - I went to the drs this morning - I don't have a disabled child but my eldest is type 1.

    Afternoon ladies - I went to the drs this morning as I have a dimple in my breast ( my mum has had breast cancer non genetic in her late 50's ) the dr says there is a Simatry ( excuse the spelling ) and has put me on the two week referral - I have let my partner know but he's in an important meeting right now so I'm alone - I have just booked in at the BMI mamo clinic and paid £465 because I can bear the waiting - my gps have just rung me back to get me booked in for bloods / I'm 42 with 3 kids 8/11&13 - and I guess I just want a bit of company and to chat - I don't want to tell me mum not until - I know one way or the other. How's everyone else doing? - I Should add that I think it's been there a while 6-12mnth but I chose to ignor it until I got out of the shower on Monday and my breast looked a little misshapen - it is more obvious when tense the muscle - there's no lump and my skin has the same texture it just looks a bit like cellulite x

    Hi. 

    Good luck for your appt . (I wish I could afford to go private) One day closer to my appt though . 

    I didn’t tell my husband til I was leaving the house to go to the Drs ( if he wasn’t at home I probably wouldn’t have!!) 

    I have also told my mam and a close colleague at work and sworn then not to to say anything to anyone. Although my kids are older I am not saying anything to them until I have had my appt. I have it in my head it’s bad news already .( and I’m not normally that type of person ) 

    I am on a bit of a downer which is also unusual for me.

    Well I have had to tell 2 of my adult children 18 and 23. 

    I am so snappy and irritabale and they knew there was something on my mind. This time next week is my appt but the waiting is horrible. 

    I have took next week off work as I can’t concentrate.. got loose ends to tie up this week . 

    I have convinced myself I have cancer.. I think I have too many of the symptoms for it not to be and the way my GP when doing the referral ( making me promise I would definitely go ). I have also got a weird feeling and some pain in the left side of my chest so also convinced it has spread . 

    Think I just wanted to come on to get things off my chest so to speak !
