Hi everyone
I'm hoping I can have some advice or just a talk about what I'm experiencing. Dunno if relevant, but I'm a 23yo female.
About a week and half ago I found a small 5pence piece sized lump on my forearm and said to myself, if it hadn't gone in 2 weeks I'd get it checked. The lump statted as soft and has gotten a little harder since I first discovered it.
Past 4 days I've had intermittent pain in my arm both forearm and upper arm and under my arm pit. The pain is much worse at night and feels like burning sometimes, and my elbow joint feels stiff.
The reason I'm posting on here is because I also suffer from chronic pain and chronic fatigue and I'm super paranoid about going to drs about new things because so often I'm told it's just my Chronic pain and nothing is wrong. I feel so embarrassed when I get turned away and maid to feel like I'm a hypochondriac a lot of the time by drs.
I feel what I'm experiencing is not typical to my daily pain, as I rarely have pain in my arms, only my neck, back and legs. This is what makes me think it could be something else? I've been much more tired than my normal fatigue levels the past week, and have spent a lot of time in bed.
So, is what I'm describing something to be concerned about? I have so much anxiety about going to drs because of how I've been treated in the past. I dont want to go and be told I'm wasting people's time again.
Thank you.
