Introducing Myself

Hi All,

so, so sorry I have already posted before introducing myself.

My name is Lisa and I lost my Mum yesterday and I have lots of questions I would like answered. But before I go down the complaints procedure I would love some advice.

Thank you, in advance.

Lisa

  • Hi Lisa,

Welcome to the forum and I'm so sorry to hear that you've just lost your Mum.

Understandably this is a very difficult time for you and I'm sure that if you've lots of questions to ask then you'd like answers as soon as you can.

I'm not sure who was responsible for Mum's care in her final days. If she was in hospital then the best point of contact would be the hospital PALS coordinator. If Mum was at home and her care was managed by the District nurses or a local hospice service then probably best to contact her GP surgery who will be able to help.

If you think that it might be helpful for you to talk things through with one of our team of nurses please do give them a call. They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and I'm sure that they'll be able to offer some support and advice.

    I hope this helps.
    Best wishes,
