hi a few weeks ago i went to the doctors and he felt a lump on my left side so sent me for an urgent scan. I was with my daughter who has given me so much support. I was admitted in hospital for 4 days and had a ct scan then they told me it was bad news that it’s a large mass and will need surgery. I went home that day they called me a few days later for another examination and to go over what treatment I would have. Until then I was fine but I felt very scared this is happening so they have told me I will have surgery within 4 weeks possibly chemotherapy depending on the results so it’s the waiting. 

Hello. New to forum and rubbish with technology so apologies if this appears twice. I just wanted to reassure you that I had everything shipped out 10 years ago age 40 and some chemo and have not looked back. It’s hard work, it’s not fun, but you can do this.

Hello my name is Pam and I am 77 in November. I had the shock of my life in March this year when I waqs diagnosed with Ovarian, Fallopian tube and Peritneal cancer. I had what i thouht was a full hysterectomy in 1988 and thought they reemoved everything. I had debulking surgery 5 weeks ago and although I have healed well I get days when I can't eat, stand up straight and feel sick. does anyone know how long this oes on for. I have also had 6 cycles of Carboplatin Chemo prior to the op. Thankyou.
