Persistent symptoms

Hi, I’m just looking for some advice as I have had irregular bleeding for 18 months now (after a sepsis diagnosis of womb infection) also lower back pain for the same amount of time. Recently I have had the urge to urinate more frequently, bowel changes, pain in the lower left side of my pelvis that is persistent and does not go away at all, abdominal bloating, cannot eat a full meal I tend to eat little and often but I haven’t experienced any weight loss, I have had a smear which showed high risk hpv but otherwise normal, I have a strong family history of breast cancer with every female on my mums side having had it and my mum passing at a young age. I have had ultrasounds which showed one of my ovarys slightly larger that the other, I have had a range of tests that have come back normal currently waiting on a stool sample to rule out ibs, has anyone else had similar symptoms I’m only 23 but these symptoms are not going and gradually only becoming more persistent and more symptoms to add to the long list?? Thankyou

  • Welcome to the forum Jenny although I'm sorry to read about the symptoms you've been contending with.

I'm glad the tests you've had so far have come back normal but I can understand the worry and frustration the lack of answers may be causing.

Hopefully some of our members who have had similar symptoms will pop by soon to offer their support and advice and fingers crossed you'll find out what the cause is soon.

    Kind regards,
