Hi Mary I too noticed my nipple started to invert ever so slightly and was referred back in February. I had no lump but a mass showed on mammogram.Unfortunately mine turned out to be cancer but was contained in the breast with no lymph node involvement. I have had a lumpectomy followed by 15=sessions of radiotherapy and tamoxifen for 5-10 years. I’m 47 and pre menopausal. You’ve done the right thing having it checked out but remember something like 8out of 10 people are told it’s not cancer so try and stay positive. Easier said than done I know. Thanks Nicky for your reply. Did your nipple stay inverted or did it revert back too ?  Just such a worry. I had a mammogram two years ago which was fine. I expect to have this done again unless they know by looking. The trouble is it changes back so looks normal so I’ve taken a photo to show consultant on day incase not inverted. X

Hi Mary yes mine do go back to normal initially but then started staying in more and more.  At the clinic I had a mammogram first then ultrasound with biopsy all on one day! What a day that was. Fingers crossed yours is fine but let me know. Big hugs xx

Hi Nicky consultant not concerned said fibrosis tissue. Everything ok, Will have mammogram too. Hope you are ok thinking of you.
