Lump in armpit

Hi after some advice, I found a lump under my left armpit three days ago it has grown in size and become painfull and hard.i have tried to get a doctors appointment but thay have said a week tomoz ( 8 days in all the wait). So nervous and scared.should I demand an emergency appointment.thanks everyone

    Hi . Yes I think you should ring your g.p and request an urgent appointment.  8 days wait is too long . it will just make you really anxious and also you need to get it sorted out.  dont let them fob you off.  good luck

    I agree with the other persons answer, 8 days is way too long. The GP needs to get you in and see you so that they can investigate whats going on. Hopefully its nothing to worry about but either way it needs looking at to see why its growing. i dont understand why they are making you wait but please call back and demand an appointment sooner.

    Hi I found a lump last week in my arm

    pit hard and not painful they had me a appointment at the hospital a week later .consultant said if it measures in a scan over one cm it needs to be removed .thet should see you soon.he never explained why it would need to be romoved
