Im after some advice on this particular topic. I’m only 16 years of age but i’m currently experiencing every symptom of ovarian cancer, except for pain during intercourse. I’ve been bounced around by my gp and had frequent supposed water infections over the last 8-10 months. Not only this but all of a sudden i’m experiencing abdominal pain, mid cycle vaginal bleeding, a loss of appetite, and constant nausea and the feeling of being bloated. I won’t list every symptom on here, but i tick them all bar one. However, because i’m so young I don’t even want to approach the idea of this and I don’t want to see my doctor and try and self diagnose. I went to the hospital the other day and the doctor told me to tell my gp to do an ovarian and pelvic scan fairly urgently. I guess i’m just a bit pankicked because i’ve had these unexplained symptoms for so long and i don’t know what they mean. I know there’s nothing anyone on here could do, but i was just wondering whether my young age would make it unlikely and how to approach my doctor about my concerns without sounding like i’m self diagnosing.
