Welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear that you've found a lump. We'd always suggest that anyone who finds a lump or has a health concern makes an appointment to get things checked by their GP. 

I hope that the Dr is bale to give you some reassurance.

 I'm afraid I haven't...I have lichen sclerosis that gives me a lot of problems, I know I should get checked but the pain of an examination is unbearable I split and tear. It is so miserable xx

 I know your post is a while ago but I too have a large lump / bulge in the front wall of my vagina , Gp said she could feel the bulge and also  a lump when pressing on my abdomen so I have had a 2 w referral with gynaecologist for cancer .!!    ( appointment tomorrow ) I started a chat a few days ago but heard nothing . 
Never even heard of a 2w referral for suspected cancer and was freaking out !  If things were explained  it would of been easier to understand at the time  I saw the Gp ! 
I have been searching for answers to reduce my anxiety.

6 years my gp found a lump inside my vagina...after attending hosp I was diagnosed with vagina cancer. I had 27 sessions of radiotherapy and6 chemo...6 weeks later I had bladder and vaginal wall removed and closed vagina. I have suffered awful soreness since. Life is very hard.

I have been bleeding for over 2 months extramily heavy. Due to covid I have never been seen face to face with my gp. She had bloods done and a ultra sound scan. I asked her to refer me private to gynaecologist as thing we're not improving and the bleeds were so heavy I couldn't cope. He did a examination and has found a mass. He spoke to my gp within a hr and has referred me rapid response to a gynaecologist in nhs. He said that it's a better service than paying private as they can do everything quick. My go called and said we are treating this as suspected cancer. I'm so scared what's gonna happen next.
