I have read many things on line about Acid Reflux and the effects you could have from GERD and the one thing that bothered me was Throat Cancer.
I am in my early 40's, diagnosed with Acid Refux last month and suffer with Crohns Disease for most of my life.
First symptom I got was early August when it felt like a lump in the throat which I initially went to my local GP and he prescribed 15mg Lansoprazole and Peptac which I started taking.
I found that the prescription wasn't working so ended up going back and I was given 20mg Pantoprazole and 10mg Metoclopramide and asked to provide stool sample, blood test and GP was arranging Gastroscopy.
Since seeing the GP about a week ago, I have been elminating various foods and drinks, altered how I sleep which has helped but I have had acid maybe once since taking the course, bloating in my stomach and what feels like a lump in my throat. My throat does however feel ok when I get up in the morning.
Now could it be the Metoclopramide causing the lump in my throat? Is Crohns Disease playing apart in this? I don't know with having Crohns Disease if I have diahorrea or not with having loose stools everytime I have a bowel movment.
I hate to trouble my local GP with every single ailment so I thought I may get an answer on here just to put my mind at rest.
