  • Hello Magdalena2019

I'm sorry to hear that you have developed an infection after your recent procedure. It can take a few days for antibiotics to start to work but if you are concerned please contact your Out of Hours Dr service. If you don't have the contact details then ring your normal GP number and you should either be put through or there should be an answerphone message with contact details.

    I hope things improve soon.

  • Dear Jenn Thank You Very much for your advice. I called the Ward today and they advised me to go to walk in centre as I must be referred by the GP to be able to see the specialist. Also they mentioned that if I am on antibiotic there is not much they will be able to do.

They also told me that I shouldn’t have this kind of pain at this stage. So better if I go to se my GP.

I am anxious because I feel something is not right. I wanted to travel tomorrow by car to Holland with my partner  and now I don’t know if I should leave the country.

I decided to go to walk in centre and I hope someone will Be able to examine me. I am worried.
