Hi all 

I was admitted to hospital 2 weeks ago with an awful burning sensation and shooting pains in my leg, with a lump I've had for about 18 months. They did xrays and mri scans and blood tests, they have found a large white "mass" on my lower leg, I am currently awaiting an appointment from the specialists, on crutches as they do not want me to walk on it, as they fear the pain has started due to me bleeding into it. However, I woke up this morning and it has stopped hurting completely. I am unsure of whether or not to call the hospital and tell them or continue to wait for my appointment. The lump is as yet undiagnosed as the consultant team and doctors in their 30+ years had never seen anything like it. I am terrified it is something bad and not knowing is driving me insane. Do I phone and let them know?
