So basically, I was itching my neck around 2 weeks ago (I’ve had eczema my whole life so this is normal for me) and I noticed a small lump on the back of my neck about a pea size, but I had to feel around my neck first to really find it. I left it for a week, started googling things (which I know is bad!!) and got worried so I booked an appointment at the doctors, they booked me with the nurse practitioner and I explained everything, she said it could be a gland, but I said I’m feeling well and have no symptoms of illness and she checked me over (weight, temperature, blood pressure) and said I wasn’t all fine, she said the rash could he because of my fake tan, but I’ve been fake tanning for ages so idk how plausible this is... then she felt around my whole neck/face and said she couldn’t feel anything so I had to point it out to her. However in some positions of my neck you can feel it more than others, like if my neck is upright you can’t feel it at all, but if it’s bent you can really feel the lump. She said it “might be a knot in my neck” and I said yeah that’ll make sense because of my job I’m hunched over all day (dental nurse) so she said if it isn’t down in a while I should come back. But idk I’m really worrying like I just googled it again and it said the cancer  is most common in teenagers and adults and I’m 19... and it’s been 2 weeks and the lump hasn’t gone down I’m really worrying!!
