Hi to all'

I had a colonoscopy last Tuesday morning I had sedative it didn't even touch it at all.

I asked for more pain relief they said no because of asthma I didn't have asthma at the time so that was a poor excuse.

I had gastroscopy and colonoscopy also took lots of biopsies even tho they said they didn't find anything.

I did have polyps taken on last colonoscopy.

Why all the pain 10/10 I was in agony.

I won't get my results till 5 th of Sept. Really worried.

Hi Dolphin
i had two colonoscopies, both without sedatives. It’s bloody torture so you have my sympathy. You don’t mention your gender but women find it particular painful as we have lots of other ‘bits’ in that area so more difficult to get around the colon.
hopefully your tests will come back negative - I had to undergo a CT scan after my colonoscopies but eventually got the ‘all clear’ x

I had a letter ftosptital saying that my colonoscopy came back clear really pleased with the result.
I am still having diorhhea so will need to find the cause.
To all of you who are dealing with Cancer I hope you all have your treatment and make a great recovery.
