Low iron

Hi guys, gotta say I'm completely *** myself, I gotta have a colonoscopy for the first time, just preying they don't find anything, my gp saying how low my iron was for a male, and colorectal cancer is suspected. Suppose just messaging so I don't feel alone. Thanks for anyone who reply.

    Hi there - it's worrying I know. A little while ago I was put on the 2 week cancer pathway for the same thing, All came back clear. My GP said 9 out of 10 people sent for these tests don't have cancer. This is probably you too so try not to worry. If there is a problem it's probably something that can be sorted out. You'd be very young to have this type of cancer.
