Hi Apples,
Welcome to the forum. Please try not to worry about this. Many of us are called back after having a mammogram. It can be that the mammogram is not as clear as it should be or there can be something of concern. Fortunately, when it happened to me, I had another mammogram and they were happy that there was nothing of concern on that.
How long do you have to wait for your next appointment?
This is a worrying time for you. Try to keep yourself busy in the meantime. This should help to distract you from the wait.
The nurse wouldn't have said that it was of low concern unless this was the case, so try to hang on to that in the meantime.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Fingers crossed that it's nothing to worry about.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hi Jolamine
I got the letter today and app next Friday. She said it could be the way i was scanned but it's of low concern. I explained that I have been through breast cancer with my best friend and she is ok now. I nursed my mum with lymphoma non hodgkin's, she passed in my arms, so I am a bit up in the air. Should I take comfort from the fact that it is of low concern.
