my husband had the two lower lobes removed from his right lung in February this year followed by adjuvant chemotherapy. His follow up scan has shown an enlarged lymph node and a rim of fluid he has to have another scan next month . What could this be?

    I just wanted to welcome you to our forum and I hope you will hear from others who have also had a similar experience. I hope the scan next month will shed some light on what this could mean. You could in the meantime perhaps get in touch with your husband's doctor or specialist and ask them whether they can tell you more about these results.

    Thank you for your reply. The chemotherapy doctor said it could all be from his operation which I’m hoping it is it’s just that it’s another waiting game now as scam isn’t until end of September then sees doctor again two weeks later.
