Lumps/bumps in pubic area

Hello,

about a month ago I noticed a little bump in my pubic area, it was slightly irritating but overall was fine and I assumed it was an ingrown hair. Today I have noticed two more have appeared that are seem to be the same (one more irritating than the other). I just wondered if anyone knew what they were before I go to the GP - I don’t think they’re ingrown hairs and I could leave them there because they aren’t causing an issue but I thought no harm in asking!

  • Hi Belle_mira; welcome to the forum.

    Our members may be able to hazard a guess but no-one except a medical professional will be able to say for sure so do get that appointment booked so you can find out what's going on and whether they're any cause for concern.

    Fingers crossed they turn out to be harmless and are easily dealt with.

    Hi belle_mira,  I found a small lump in the same area about 2 weeks ago and I'm sure it's nothing to do with ingrown hairs.  Today I noticed another appearing.  Cant feel any pain unless you press hard on the lump.  I'm worried as it doesn't appear to be going away so yesterday tried to book an appointment with the GP but they say they can't see me till 11th June.  It's such a long time to wait when you feel so anxious and worried.  I hate doctors but just want to know one way or the other what it is.  Did you get a diagnosis?
