Hi i was referred by my gp 4 months ago for post menopausal bleeding. I'm 51. Have been seen by a private company but via the Nhs as my gp wanted me to be an urgent referral. Doesn't seem to be very quick though as only just had a hysteroscopy which confirmed the lining is thickened. Despite it saying on the Nhs website that results should take 2 weeks, ive been told they may take 8 weeks because they have a backlog. Feel worried and the thought of yet another wait is driving me up the wall x
