I have been having sore throats on and off for a while. I had 3 in May, 1 in June, 2 in July and 1 already in August. Each time it hurts on the right side, my right tonsil is always enlarged, I have white patches on the right side of my tongue, and the right side of my tongue gets sore at the same time. Last time it was brought on my son pushing his head into my throat. It lasts between 2 days and a week and can come back on a few days later.

I feel like it just a dodgy tonsil that probably needs removing. I had a few bouts of tonsillitis years ago and it has probably just messed the tonsil up. But i have been suffering with health anxiety lately and it's making my mind wander to darker places. I have an appointment at the doctors in a week but I would like a little bit of reassurance off anyone

I feel ridiculous for asking this because there are so many people going through hell but I have kept it in my head for months now
