Hubby 7 week post treatment for tonsil and tongue cancer and neck cancer. Uses peg for feed. Still losing weight. At my wits end trying to be positive. Is this normal after 7 weeks?

If you're worried it may be worth getting in touch with your hubby's medical team so you can discuss your concerns and see what they can recommend to help with the weight gain.
We have quite a large community of tongue/tonsil/neck cancer members on this discussion that have had similar issues during their recovery so do have a chat with them as they're very supportive and will do all they can to help.

Consultant says not to worry about the weight loss and expects that once this phlegmy things gone he might want to eat
He fancied mash and gravy tonight but it made him wretch. I just can't c light at end if tunnel. He was having 3 fortisip but only managed 2 today and yesterday . I just feel so desolate
