Major duct removal from breast

Hi, I’m new on here.  I had all major ducts removed a week ago today.  I had green discharge for years but started bleeding ‘red’ from a single duct a month ago.  The green discharge also tested positive for blood.  Ultrasound and mammogram were both fine but they still wanted to check the ducts under a microscope.  My wound is still bleeding now.  Has anyone else been all clear on the scans but cancer found in the ducts upon inspection? Sorry for the long post, I’m feeling very unsettled, also because last year my appendix were removed and they incidentally found a stage 1 neuroendocrine tumour.

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat Lousonthespend although I'm sorry for the reason you're joining us.

Hopefully some of our members who have had a similar experience will share their stories with you soon but if you can try and stay busy or find things to distract yourself with in the meantime it may help to take your mind off this, even if just for a little while.

I and the rest of the forum will have our fingers crossed no cancer is found when the ducts are examined under the microscope and hope that your wound starts healing soon.

    Kind regards,
