Hi there Elliemay - sorry you're so worried & you've had these symptoms. I know how waiting for results can feel like torture. You may well have to wait a little while yet for the results I'm afraid. To some extent it depends on how busy the radiology dept. is. Try ringing your GP in the middle of next week if you haven't heard anything.

I had a cancer scare a little while ago & was put on the 2 week cancer pathway. Tests were done immediately but the results took a while to come through. Luckily all was well. My GP told me that 9 out of 10 patients sent for these tests come back clear so that could well be the case with you too. Just because a doctor is concerned doesn't mean you have cancer. Mostly they are just being careful about your health which is a good thing. But it does mean that we have that nagging doubt until the results arrive.

You do obviously have some symptoms which aren't nice & when the results come back it could mean you have something which is easily sorted out. :) In the meantime do try not to focus on negative thoughts & keep yourself as busy as you can so the time will pass more quickly & keep your mind on other things.
