Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone can advise please?

I started heavy bleeding again a year after my periods stopped. Ultrasound showed a very thickened lining, plus a dark area which might or might not be a fibroid! The specialist nurse said she wanted a second opinion on the latter, and I would get a second ultrasound in 2/3 weeks. Also I was to have a hysteroscopy with biopsy, and probably an MRI. 

I got a hysteroscopy appointment (anaesthetic) for six weeks after this, but no word for second ultrasound. I called to query this, and was finally given an appt for end of August, and told the hysteroscopy was now to be postponed as they wanted to do the ultrasound first!

So it will now be two months (not weeks) between the first and second ultrasound, and no idea when I will get the hysteroscopy or MRI.

I'm very upset and worried about this, should the wait have been extended so long, given I was told I would be seen again in 2/3 weeks? It seems so long to wait and worry!!!
