Hi my husband has been on hormone for a year now for prostate cancer and he is having terrible sweating episodes. Can you tell me if this is quite normal only he sweats so much he has to change clothes during day and during the night.
I'm afraid your husband is stuck, the treatment is a female hormone which makes hot flushes, only a lot worse (females would say that's not true) I've been on it for nearly four years and need treatment rest of life my wife says now you know what it's like but wife admits I'm a lot worse than Her, as you can guess I've prostate cancer it's non curable, it's gone to lymph nodes, spine, ribs, pelvis and I lung its stage 4,, what hubby is having is natural side effects of the treatment, there is some tablets which help its CLONIDINE hope that helps, good luck.
