scab on mole been picked off,mole normal

I am 14 and have this mole and it hasn’t been itchy sore or anything but i looked at it before and it had a scab on it, a tiny tiny scab on it,i didn’t know at the time that it was a scab on a mole and i have picked it off and nothing happened,the mole is normal, but i do have anxiety so i have now looked on the internet and now freaking out that  have cancer, i just want to be re assured that it’s nothing the mole isn’t red or anything just now normal and i haven’t had any family history with skin cancer . please help me 

  • Welcome to the forum 12455Cj1244 although I'm sorry for the reason you're posting.

    Looking on the internet for answers does have a tendency to do more harm than good so if you can try and stop yourself from doing this again as it will only make you worry more. 

    Unfortunately no one here can give you medical advice so the best thing to do if you're worried is to speak with someone you trust, so maybe your mum or dad, so they can book you an appointment to see your doctor.

    Situations like this can be scary but hopefully your parents and doctor will be able to put your mind at ease soon.

    thank you so much ,

    i have spoken to my mum and she said that it’s nothing to worry about and that helped to put my mind at ease a lot, 

    i do worry a lot and thank you for the advice of not looking in the internet because i do agree that it makes me worse!
