Hi Mrs mogs, the only gel I've heard of is what they inject behind the prostate so the radio waves don't go any further so it cuts down risk of damage elsewhere, it doesn't cut down side effects,. It is possible someone has had that treatment but i haven't noticed, hopefully if there is they will get in touch soon good luck.
Thats the gel I mean, it cuts down the risk of damage elsewhere but it also reduces 70% of the side effects. I have been advised by our doctor to write to the consultant and request this so keep your fingers crossed for us.
