Lump on sternum beside left breast

I found a lump that seems to be on the sternum but beside my left breast which feels hard and doesn't move feels almost like a bone. It wouldn't be very painful. I'm due to get an xray done I panic so much I also have multiple scoliosis anybody ever experienced this

    I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with some health anxieties at the moment. Finding a lump or bump can be a worrying time but it sounds as if your GP is trying to find out what is going on by sending you for this x-ray. 

    Hopefully once you've had your appointment you won't have to wait too long for the results. Although it's natural to be worried it sounds as if you are feeling particulalry anxious about this lump. You might find it helpful to have a look at the NHS Mood Zone for some tips to help you cope.
