Wow I’m shocked!!  I had exact same diagnosis and was operated on within 48hrs, good thing too because unbeknown to any of us as none of the scans showed anything and no symptoms but I ended up having the cyst removed and some bowel due to them finding a small amount of cancer there.  Apparently that was the primary site of the cyst.  Not trying to scare you but I would push harder to be sorted out.  My cyst was also same size, I was in terrible pain and could not go to the toilet At all.  Best of luck x

Thank you for your reply, I dont know what else i can do, I've rang countless times to be told the waiting list is long, they can't say how long it will take. Ive also been into my GP too, and I'm told the same thing, I am very scared and worried, scared more then just the Dermoid Cyst will need to be removed. In alot of pain also. I urinate alot but extremely constipated. X

I think you need to take yourself to A&E I know it's always s long wait but it may force them to take a proper look and do something.  That's my advice if you in a lot of pain and worrying.  Truly madness!  So sorry that you going through this. Please let me know of any progress x

Hi had the dermoid cyst removed on 3/10/2019 they also had to remove my ovary, double in side they first thought, but they managed to unblock my right fallopian tube, they also found endometriosis which they also removed too, 2 days later I am home, feeling very sore but just glad I have it over with, and my chances to conceive is still high! :)
