Lumps down the throat

Hi all just looking around, my wife has had a camera down her throat and they have found 2 small fingernail sized lumps and she has been booked in for there removal pretty sharpish it seems, nothing has been mentioned cancer wise but obviously she is quite worried, as she has lost quite a bit of weight, though she has had a change of medication recently for her bad migraines onto a tablet that does state weight lost can be expected (Toprimate) and her dad died of throat cancer, she doesnt seem to have any other symptoms, no voice change no cough, just wondering what else this could be

Make a note of any questions you both have and then you can ask them at the next appointment to ensure you have the information you need.

    It's of course natural to worry when there is uncertainty and when there is a wait for results or further information, but try not to focus on any negatives - the main thing is that the medical team are dealing with it swiftly.
