hi yesterday i went for a pet scan and i recently was diagnosed with 2 nodules in my lung. we dont know yet if they r cancer. frightened to say the least. im 44 years old and have had my throid removed which had 3mm of cancer at the back of it. My consultant said this diagnosis is not in any way related. Can any one tell me how long it takes for the results to come through or should i contact my consultant in a few days x
