Hi I am new to this, I was in hospital for five weeks following an extended right colectomy on top of that I developed a rare chest infection, which consisted of pockets of infected pus on the lower lobe of my right lng,  hence the extended stay in hospital, after seeing the consultant in a follow up app't, I was told that the tumor had been completely removed, and was very pleased with recovery, but referred me to the oncologist for a follw up course of treatment, however he said it was an insurance policy, the course reccommended was Xelox, and was given a sheet of side effects, has anybody been on this course of treatment if so what side effects did they experience!!
