Long term caught

Hi,

Sorry to disturb anybody I just don't know where I could find advice. 

I have caught for 3 months and went to GP 2 weeks ago, and after have chest x-ray week ago. Today I have a phone call from GP and they said they got results and I need an appointment within 7 days. They booked me in 2 days but even this waiting becoming very difficult.... I just thinking is this appointment urgent or not?... I know nobody could give an answer but maybe any word how fast bad x-ray results are coming.... I don't know how to wait this 2 days....

    i am sorry I can’t be more helpful but I haven’t had xrays for persistent cough but I do know what it is like to wait for results etc. The waiting is hard mentally as we tend to over analyse everything.
