Hi everyone 

My Mum in law has a suspected thymic tumour which they suspect has spread to her liver and hospital wanted further MRI tests and also a biopsy which were all done within within a week of her seeing the oncology team. We were supposed to go back last week for the results but the hospital contacted her to cancel the appointment saying that they sent her boiposy to a hospital in London. We was supposed to be going back this Wednesday for the results but they phoned again today to cancel saying that they hadn’t received the results back still and hopefully they will be back for next Wednesday. Just concerned that it will now be a further 3 weeks down the line waiting for results had any one else had this problem and how long is it normal to wait l? as we feel like if it is as bad as they think this 3 weeks more without ttreatment and just seems like a lifetime to wait
