Hi. 

I am new to this forum and am awaiting biopsy results for a lump in my breast and lymph nodes under my arm. But I had bowel cancer 10 years ago (age 29), and I feel your pain. It took over a year to get diagnosed and I too had to wait a month for a colonoscopy, but my symptoms increased quite considerably whilst waiting. I went back to my doctor and explained my concerns and they were able to bring my appointment forward by two weeks. I am so glad they did. 

Go back to your GP, or consultant, if you have one. They are the experts and have the powers that can bring the appointments forward if necessary. I am a true believer in that we know our own bodies and trust my instincts.

Thank-you I spoke to a doctor a week ago and said my symptoms are getting worse and I want to put as urgent referral he just told me to hang on in their till I have my appointment ,I going to ring again tomorrow I haven't been right in myself since February I  have only got 3 weeks to wait now I want it brought forward .
