hi

so today I have my referral app to the breast clinic as I found a lump in my right breast about 5/6 weeks ago (got two week urgent referrel from GP)

anyway went in was seen straight away and was sent for an ultrasound - to which I was told after literally 30 seconds no everything’s fine I can’t see any lumps 

I was then sent back to see the consultant for an examination I came out of that examination with mixed feelings I basically got the impression I was over reacting and I felt like because of my age and no history of breast cancer in my family they didn’t take me seriously 

I got checked over only in the breast that was causing me concern to be told no ur fine there’s no lump and got sent on my way I was in and out the clinic within 40 mins 

no reason or possible reason behind as to whiny I’m having continuous breast pain (aches, feels heavy shooting pains every now and then ) 

i was handed a leaflet on breast pain and was told (believe it or not) try getting a new bra !!! I was mortified I get measured at least once a year and always wear well fitting bras 

what do I do ? Go back to my gp ask for a second opinion and a referral to another clinic 

I feel like something was missed and I was not giving any clear answers
