Advice

Hi all,

Fisrtly i like to say a big thank you to anyone that reads my post, its a scary place..

My mother in law was diagnosed with terninal cancer ( reocurence of breast cancer spread to liver, colon, pelvis & lungs ) she was given 2 months to live.  She went downhill very fast on learning her fate, understanably. She has not eaten for weeks, id say at least 5 weeks now only sips of water.

She can now longer take her oral meds, she is just sick straight away so we call the nurses and the give her injections. she has been bed bound for weeks now I cant belive that she is still with us. I just wanted to know at what point will they think about putting her on the syringe driver, some days she's in so much pain. My heart just breaks to see her like this, i cannot belive the body can go without food & water for so long.

Any thoughts or advice.

Best
