Hi,
I have just joined this grouo as i am wanting to hear about your experiences and symptoms during the process of not knowing if you had ovarian cancer. I have recently been having pains in the right side of my lower abdomen, along with fatigue, nausea, bloating and a change to my bowel movemnets. I was firstly told i had UTI medication didin't work, i was then duagnosed with IBS but the medication for that also didn't make a difference. I gave birth to my Daughter 14 weeks ago so when i first started experiencing these pains they were just put down to being postnatal. I had a blood test on Wednesday and was asked to urgently attend a GP appointment yesterday and he told me my CA125 levels were raised... he did make it clear Ovarian Cancer is not the only possibilty and i have been fast trackedf or an Ultrasound on Tuesday. I know non of you will be able to tell me whether i do or dont have Ovarian Canacer but i am so scared and finding it difficult to think of anything else. I have 3 children (3, 1 and 14 weeks) and an amazing husband who has been very supportive and keeps telling me not to worry but since recieveing these results yesterday that seems to have knocked him a bit too. This ultrasound just feels ages away. I just feel i am in a bubble experiencing something unreal, i work full time too and i am struggling with it just can't get my thoguths straight.
Thankyou for your time and any advice/ experiences you can share! x
