Morning all. I'm 63 years. April 13 my doc sent me to hospital for a CT scan possible kidney stones. Since then I've had more symptoms other than sharp pains and right sides aches it now seems to of affected my stomach. Last Friday went back to doctors and requested my bloods to be taken I will receive my results this week. I'm just wondering why my CT results have taken over three week's. Any ideas? Thank you.

    Hello Toby1, 

    I am sorry to hear you've had additional symptoms recently. You've done the right thing in going back to the doctor's and I hope you won't have to wait too long to receive the results of your blood tests. With regard to your CT scan results, if you are worried that this is taking too long, it might be worth ringing the hospital and asking whether it is normal for the results to take over three weeks to come through. 

    Keeping everything crossed for you for good results.

    Thanks for your response Lucie. I think I will give the hospital a call later . All my bloods from kidneys liver etc was fine . My ca 125 was 5. Not as though that means anything untill I get my CT results. Once again Thank you.

    You're very welcome Toby it's good news your bloods have come back fine. I hope you manage to hear more from the hospital about the CT results as waiting can be so stressful.
