I've been referred to the breast clinic today for a suspect lump. My gut feeling on it isn't good. Doc said she doesn't think it's a cyst or a blocked duct. Also wants me to have bloods ready in case I need an MRI. Is that standard procedure on a referral? I've got a painless 1cm hard lump just above my left nipple, and last week I noticed it after my son who still has a small breastfeed before bed (22mths) pulled off and said yuck, and screwed his face up and now won't feed that side. Any advice would be appreciated xx
