Colon cancer??

Hi all i have found a lump under my right ribs and going down towards my hip. The area is feeling numb at times. My bowels have changed.  I have had a ct scan 16 days ago but getting worried, this was done at a private hospital but under nhs. Is no news good news. Any help off anybody who has had the same experience would be greatfully recieved.

    I have had extensive colorectal cancer with large tumours but none were visible on the surface. Chase up the results of the scan urgently, don’t wait on them as they will have analysed the scan within a short period of time - hospitals have a bad habit of forgetting to tell you either way (from bitter experience). No news is usually good news but chase anyway. Good luck.

    Hi thank you for that. The ct scan has come back all clear. I still have this right sided abdominal mass which i am now wondering what it is if a ct scan hasnt picked it up. Numb in parts at times. Pain in pelvis. Bloated and swollen tum especially right side. Bowel changes. Extreme tiredness. And so it goes on with me getting worried something is missed and dont know what to do now

    You need to see your GP and ask them. Don’t stop and don’t give up.

    Try NHS 111 online

    www.nhs.uk/.../

    Enter your postcode and symptoms and see what it advises. Call 111 if it is painful or affecting how you go about your daily life but do not leave it.

    Obviously it is not normal. Don’t stop until it is explained or treated. Good luck
