Hi all,
I was hoping to get some advice and/or hear about your experiences?
In 2017 I found a lump in my left boob & had a lumpectomy, the lump was tested and results were that it was an intraductal papilloma. I found another lump in the same boob around 6 months later and the consultant wanted me to have a total duct excision to avoid a reoccurring problem. I did this and result again showed it was a papilloma. With each of these lumps I had a browny/sometimes bloody discharge and pain where the lumps were. Now, around 8 months on from the last op I’ve found another lump! I’ve been re-referred to the breast unit & I’m sure it’s going to be another papilloma & not cancerous.. but there aren’t any ducts left for it to have grown in?!? I knew I had it as I felt the pain again & no discharge this time as no ducts leading to the nipple.
Has anyone else else had a similar experience?? I’d love to hear from you.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Jo
