Hello , I am getting myself in a state ...in the past 4 weeks I have had 1 ultrasound scan  at one hospital and 1 ultrasound a CT and MRI scan at another hospital . I was told I have a mass on my liver after the 1st scan . Blood tests were done at the 2 nd hospital and I was told by a specialist  nurse there was nothing nasty cannot use the c word .I am waiting results on the 3 other scans ...This afternoon  I am going for a Colonoscopy .I lost my Dad and Aunt to Liver and bowel c ...sorry for the essay !!!

  • Hi Gilly and welcome to the forum.

    It can be nerve-racking having a lot of tests in a short space of time, but it's reassuring to see what the specialist nurse has said so try and remind yourself of this, if you can, when you find your worries are getting the better of you.

    Many of our members will understand what you're going through having been in similar situations themselves and hopefully you'll receive some words of support and advice from them soon.

    I hope your colonoscopy went well the other day and I'll have my fingers crossed the results of the other tests bring good news as well.
