I'm not a medic but I know there are many reasons for headaches, most of them not life-threatening. How didthe GPappt go?

I am not due to go until next Tuesday and currently on holiday. I thought it was work stress but it hasn’t gone and I’m not at work so worried out my mind. Thanks for getting back to me. Don’t know what to do :s

Hi its possible your having migraines any thing can start them off including some food, bright sunshine, certain noise. My wife used to have bad ones turned out to be cafene it's in coffee, chocolate, tea and some other stuff. Good luck finding what's causing yours.

thanks Billygoat. Did she have them every day all day? They are not so bad that I can’t get out of bed, however they do seem to be getting worse. I feel sick too but managed to stop myself being sick so far. I have taken max paracetamol, codeine and ibuprofen today and nothing has tamed it. Feeling like I should cut my holiday short but don’t want to ruin it for my family. I do appreciate the time taken to email me back guys

Hi she used have them day and night Dr told us to try not having certain things for about two weeks see if maid any difference there are tests they can do put samples on arm and such but most people just try without. Some people it's dairy products thats the trouble there's a lot of choices, certain smells, smoke, its worth considering trying to cut something out. Good luck.
