Hoping someone can help. Overnight discovered a mark/bruise on my breast. Seen a nurse the next day who referred me to a dr. After a 10 days wait I saw a dr who referred me to the breast clinic. 2 weeks later had a manual check by a consultant who referred me for a mammogram. 2 weeks later had the mammogram and was told that if not heard anything within 3 weeks then to call them. I did that on three weeks only to be told by a radiographer that my results have been checked by one consultant and due to a shortage of consultants it will take up to another three weeks for My results to be checked again. I am now on  week 5. Is this normal???
