Lumps on scalp behind ear.

My little boy is 2.5yrs he was born with forseps in 2016 since his birth he’s had a small hard lump behind his ear in his hair fully so technical not behind the ear itself . This has never bothered him or worried me as he’s had it all his life. Until today. The tiny pea sized lump is still there but right next to it is a bigger still very hard lump. It feels the same sort of lump as it’s hard and doesn’t move.

What couldbit be? I’ve read about soft tissue cancers and basically everything the internet offers is scary.

Could it be the new lump is his lymph nodes!?  He has got chicken pox so could be part of the infection? I’m worried. Cancer is at the front of my mind constantly and I don’t want my baby to be poorly. Please advise and help.

  • Hi there ...

Bless ya... our worst fear is for our babies no matter their age ..  now chicken pox could cause all sorts of problems .. so I wouldn't panic... though googling symptoms is always worse case sinarios. .. it's never good ...

But although it's probly fine, get a Drs appointment as all lumps should be looked at ... have you had the original lump looked at before .. it's no good not asking about lumps as soonest seen, soonest sorted .. and l think the odds are on his side .. but all ways check ... Chrissie x
