After 15 years without treatment I have just received a phone call to tell me I have secondary breast cancer in the top of my lung.  Now waiting an appointment to come through from onocology.  The doctor who phoned me said it is probably that I would not have an operation to remove the tumor, but that Chemo would be offered instead. I realise treatment has advanced at a great pace since 2003 and I want to investigate all options available to me before meeting with the onocology team, any suggestions greatly received.
