Hi Lottie, please try not to worry, I'm sure it's perfectly normal. I am nearly 60 and have had 1 inverted nipple all my life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago (not in the breast with the inverted nipple). My mother and older sister also have it and neither of them has ever had breast cancer. It would be very rare for someone your age to get breast cancer. f you are worried see your Gp for reassurance. If it bothers you I do know it can be corrected with a minor operation. first step is to go to doctor and get it checked, it’s true that inverted nipple can be a symptom so always good to check.. my mum has inverted nipples she is 82, I inherited it in my 20’s (thanks mum lol) I got it checked and I’m fine, I am now 60.. 

The specialist will explain what causes it, but please check it out.

Hey Lottie and others, I'm only 15 (almost 16) but this morning when I woke up, as I was getting ready for a shower, I noticed I had inverted nipples - both of them. I'm super worried that it might be breast cancer or something. I've been researching it all day and they all say to get it checked with a doctor but rn 8 dont have a doctors as they kicked us out because we dont live close enough anymore. And also I'm super nervous and embarrassed about it. I really dont want to go.

Also once I found it this morning I retrieved them and they half/ kind of went back to normal. Through out the day they have been inverting and I have been retrieving them. I'm not sure if I should be doing that but I'm scared and dont want to tell my mum. 

I really need help rn : (
