I don't know if I'm in the right place but how do you cope with waiting for results?

Any ideas of What can I do to take my mind off it?

Long story short- I had an appointment with my GP last week  and while I was there I mentioned a slight swelling on the side of my neck  he examined me and arranged a chest x ray and full blood count the next day and has refered me for a ultrasound on the neck. He said I should have my ultrasound appointment within 2 weeks.

I asked him what it could be he said it could be a cyst or it could be sinister.

I have tried really hard not to worry what it could be until I get facts but the waiting is driving me mad.
