Worried I may have cancer

Hi everyone I'm a 22 year old male about 5 months ago I noticed swollen lymph nodes on both sides of my neck which have more recently grown in size and another one has started on left side of neck I do not have sore throat or anything in that area. Also I have have had very bad constant abdominal pain, blood in my stool and also have lost my appetite. I have went to doctor, blood and urine tests all came back fine but symptoms are getting worse. Also I feel really tired all the time but have no signs of infection, there is definitely something wrong but I'm getting no answers as to what it is. I am still waiting on upper endoscopy which was supposed to be 2 weeks ago.

I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on the situation. Thank you

    Hi Denny,

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear about the problems you're having with your lymph nodes and general health.

I am afraid that most of us on this site are not doctors, simply cancer pilgrims, supporting one another.

Have you contacted your GP to see why you are still waiting for the upper endoscopy? It would certainly be worth doing this. If things are getting progressively worse, it might also be an idea to make another appointment with your GP.

Sometimes you need to be quite determined to get referred for further investigation, but you know your own body best and know when it is out of kilter. Here's hoping that it is nothing too serious at your age. I am not a medic, but it could be something like irritable bowel.

Do please let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine
